STG has developed an internationally recognized training program for welders specially customized by experts to achieve harmonization in the training, examination and testing of welders around the world. The training programme has intensive practical welder training where the trainee learns welding techniques starting with welding a bead on plate and moving onto welding T-joints, corner joints and then butt joints in a variety of positions. Welder training is  given for a variety of welding processes including “stick” welding (SMAW), gas metal arc (GMAW) and flux cored arc welding (FCAW), gas welding and TIG welding (GTAW). In addition to the practical welding element, there is also a two week theoretical training section to improve the understanding of welding technology. This course provides an in depth knowledge in various welding methods and help the candidate acquire a good job in welding field
